Most 2-stroke engines on the market today use a chain drive to get you where you need to go. Although effective, the end result is a drivetrain that is noisy, difficult to maintain, and a riding experience that is simply not comfortable. The BBR Tuning 2-Stroke T Belt Drive Transmission Kit however uses two machined aluminum gears and a belt in lieu of a chain. This enhancement allows for a near silent drivetrain, simple and straight forward maintenance, and a ride that will feel smooth.
Engineered with versatility in mind, this kit is compatible with a wide variety of 2-stroke engines and bike builds. Featuring a 6-hole and 9-hole rear gear configuration, you can utilize this kit with either a sprocket clamp assembly or mag wheel setup. It is even compatible with both 48cc and 66cc/80cc 2-stroke engines alike. Not to mention installation is a breeze, all you need to do is:
- Remove your 10-tooth sprocket using a sprocket removal tool and replace it with the small drive gear included in the kit.
- Install the larger drive gear to either your sprocket clamp assembly or mag wheel.
- Replace your existing nylon pulley wheel with the upgraded aluminum wheel provided.
- Install and align the T-Belt provided in the kit.
